AI Peer Learning

To support the development of AI skills within a not-for-profit community group, we developed and facilitated a mix of in person and online peer learning activities aimed at empowering adoption of AI.

The cohort had wide ranging levels of understanding and exposure to AI technologies, so our approach introduce foundational tools before exploring more complex areas such as customisation and automation.

Topics covered policy development and principles for responsible AI usage, data and privacy compliance through to live demonstrations of tools and custom-built AI solutions.

Outcomes for Participants:

• Enhanced Understanding: Attendees gained a deeper understanding on the opportunity and impact of AI
• Skills Development: Hands on exercises and usage of foundational AI tools encouraged experimentation and sharing.
• Peer Learning: Facilitated discussions, breakouts and shared learning supported the community to grow and adopt AI together
